Dr. Fatima Alrashed on ‘Good Morning Kuwait’

‘Good Morning Kuwait’ program on KTV1 featured Dr. Fatima Alrashed this morning as a special guest following her recent Award. Dr Fatima, Scientist at the Immunology and Microbiology Unit at DDI, recently won the Jaber Al-Ahmad Award for Young Researchers for 2023. Her interview covered her latest accomplishments, research developments, and latest findings.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Vision:

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
