DDI Organized a Joint Training Program with the MOD

DDI organized a Pharmacotherapy Training Program focused on persons with diabetes. This training program is for pharmacists and pharmacy workers at the Ministry of Defense (MOD) over two consecutive days. A total of 40 specialized professionals attended this medical workshop, from the Chiefs of Staff.

This workshop was presented by Amina Al-Qassar, a specialized pharmacist from DDI, under the supervision of Ahmed Al-Dhuwaihi, Head of the Pharmacy Department at the Institute.

This workshop discussed several topics including: increased incidence of diabetes and its various types, types of insulin, hypoglycemia, modern diabetes drugs, complications of the disease and other related topics.
