DDI organized a specialized workshop titled ‘The Prevention and Management of Diabetic Foot Complications’ for healthcare professionals in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Central Administration for Primary Health Care in the Ministry of Health. This workshop was held over three consecutive days, focusing on recommendations and approved practices for managing and preventing diabetic foot complications. Trainees learned the skills of evaluating and treating the diabetic foot by relying on the latest evidence-based evaluation and treatment methods, with the aim of reducing complications and ulcers of the diabetic foot that may lead to its amputation.
