KTV2 Hala Kuwait hosts Dr. Fawaz Alzaid, Senior Scientist and Head of Bioenergetic and Neurometabolism at Dasman Diabetes Institute today at 5.45 p.m. to discuss his latest research projects at DDI and being elected as a member in the International Council for the European Association for the Study of Diabetes.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Vision:

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
