Dr. Hend AlQaderi wins L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science Young Talents Award

Dr. Hend AlQaderi was honored for her phenomenal research on the use of oral fluids as a non-invasive diagnostic tool for early diagnosis and disease management of COVID-19 and other inflammatory diseases. Dr. AlQaderi is a research associate at Dasman Diabetes Institute and lecturer in the Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology, Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

She was honored with 14 other women from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for their remarkable discoveries in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) on February 9, 2022 at the For Women in Science Young Talents program MENA Awards Ceremony, held at Expo 2020 Dubai.
