Munera Alghanim, Senior PR & Media Specialist at Dasman Diabetes Institute, will be joining The Breakfast Show on 99.7 FM to talk about World Diabetes Day that’s taking place at The Avenues – Phase 2 on November 13th, as well as the 2nd International Dasman Diabetes Summit (IDDS 2026) happening January 8–10 at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait.

About DDI

Dasman Diabetes Institute (DDI) was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the late Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to combat the prevalence of diabetes in Kuwait.

Mission:

To address the diabetes epidemic in Kuwait through focused diabetes research, integrated prevention, training and education.

Vision:

To be the leading diabetes institute in the MENA region and to be recognized internationally.
