Our Diagnostic Imaging Center (DIC) offers quality radiology investigations to the people of Kuwait. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, delivering quality output. DIC maintains the highest quality of patient care and performs radiology tests in accordance with Canada International (ACI) at the Diamond level standards to ensure quality and safety.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

An MRI is a procedure that is non-invasive and does not involve the use of any radiation.

Computerized Tomography

A CT is a non-invasive procedure which uses X-rays at different angles.

Ultrasound & Vascular Lab

Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves and their echoes to see what is going on inside your body.

Bone Mineral Densitometry

BMD is a procedure to measure bone density that is non-invasive and uses a very small amount of radiation.

X-ray

An X-ray is a commonly used imaging test used by doctors to see inside your body.

DIC offers a wide-range of diagnostic tests including:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

A non-invasive imaging technique that uses a strong magnetic field, radio waves and field gradients to form images of the body. Two highly advanced MRI machines of 1.5 (wide-bore) & 3 Tesla magnet strength are operational in DIC. MRI tests can be performed for almost any body part depending on the appropriate clinical need of the treating doctor.

Computed Tomography (CT scan)

A highly advanced X-ray based scanning system applicable for whole body imaging. Occasionally, an iodine based dye may be used to get further information.

Ultrasound

It is a non-invasive imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of organs and body structures. There is no radiation involved in ultrasound. Diagnostic Grey Scale ultrasound for almost all body parts and Color Doppler Ultrasound for arteries & veins are performed here.

Vascular Lab

Functional (Physiologic) testing is performed on this equipment (ParksFlo) with Doppler technology for patients with pain and arterial and venous blood flow problems in limbs (diabetes-related, varicose veins, venous thrombosis etc).

Digital X-ray & Orthopantomogram (OPG)

Digital X-ray is a specialized machine to take X-rays without any need for films. An OPG is a machine dedicated to using X-rays with digital technology for imaging of the jaws.
